Established in 1951, Jacobson van den Berg (Hong Kong) Limited (Jacobson) is one of the major chemical and plastic agents and distributors in Hong Kong. Jacobson handles products ranging from commodity to engineering plastics, pigments, additives and specialty chemicals. Many of Jacobson’s overseas principals are leaders in their respective markets, such as BASF, Chemours, Dow, EMS Chemie, Idemitsu, Lotte, LG Chem, LyondellBasell, MEP, Polyplastics, SK Chemicals, Teknor Apex, and Teijin. In recent years, in light of the vast market potential in China, Jacobson has set up offices in Guangzhou, and Shenzhen to seize new business opportunities. Since then, it has observed steady growth in its China operations and its service coverage has extended to many regions in China.
